Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Yolinky (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates yolinky.com and app.yolinky.com. We provide a link-tracking and redirect service for YouTube creators. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@yolinky.com.

2. What data we collect

When you use Yolinky we collect:

• Account information: your email address, provided via Google OAuth when you sign in.
• YouTube channel data: your channel name, thumbnail, and YouTube channel ID. We also store the OAuth access and refresh tokens Google issues so we can read your video descriptions and update them on your behalf.
• Link data: the outbound URLs found in your video descriptions, the Yolinky redirect slugs we generate for them, and the video IDs those links appear in.
• Click analytics: for each redirect hit — timestamp, referring URL, user agent, and approximate country (derived from your visitors' IP addresses by Cloudflare; we do not store raw IPs).
• Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, your subscription details are managed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and current plan; we never see your card details.

3. How we use your data

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To scan your YouTube video descriptions for outbound links.
• To replace those links with tracked Yolinky redirects on your instruction.
• To record click events when someone follows one of your Yolinky links.
• To display analytics in your dashboard.
• To manage your subscription and process payments via Stripe.

We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated channels, links, click records, and personal data are permanently removed within 30 days. Stripe retains billing records in accordance with their own retention policies.

5. Third-party services

• Supabase — hosts our database and manages authentication. Data is stored in the EU.
• Cloudflare — runs our redirect worker and provides country-level geolocation.
• Stripe — processes payments and manages subscriptions.
• Google / YouTube — OAuth provider and the platform whose API we use to read and update your video descriptions.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are based in the UK or EU you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (you can do this directly from Settings → Account).
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@yolinky.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of Yolinky after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
